How do the National Talent Comps work?

From all the entries we received, our judges have selected a winner in each age group and competition category to receive an Industry Award.

They selected another four entries in each age group and competition category to be in the running for the People's Choice Award. You have voted for these and the results will be published on Monday 23 June 2008.

The three finalists in the People's Choice Awards will each receive a prize also.

How do I enter?

Competition entries have now closed. Winners will be announced here in June 2008. The following is for information only and no further entries will be accepted.

  1. Read the Conditions of Entry
  2. Fill in the entry form - PDF [79kb] | DOC [450kb] and attach a short biography of yourself or your group, a colour photo of yourself and a list of credits if necessary.
    If you’re entering the 12-17 years category, make sure you get a parent or legal guardian to sign your entry form
  3. If your entry contains images of people who are not entrants in the National Talent Competitions, you must get their permission to use their image. A personal image consent form - PDF [47kb] | RTF [20kb] must be filled out by each relevant person and sent in with your entry
  4. Email or post your entry to NYW so that we receive it by 5.00pm AEST, 14 April 2008.
